Tom De Clerck
Chief Finance officer

Tom joined Oxford International in July 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. He oversees all aspects of financial reporting, planning and compliance and is focused on further improving and simplifying processes and sustainably scaling the business. He works very closely with the CEO to support the company’s rapid growth and represents the company for all aspects finance at the Board.
Tom has been in international financial positions most of his career. He started with ING Bank in Belgium and subsequently worked in mostly private equity-backed businesses in shipping and logistics, travel services and sports and events. Tom has managed several change management projects on building new teams, governance & compliance, treasury and rightsizing.
Prior to joining Oxford International, Tom was Group CFO with Inchcape Shipping Services, an international marine services provider, where he worked with management and shareholders to complete a divestment of the non-core businesses followed by a refinancing with a syndicate of three banks.
Tom was born and raised in Belgium and holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Brussels, as well as a Masters in Finance from Marseille, France. He has also lived and worked in Germany, the Netherlands, and, since 2012, the UK. With a strong appreciation for global cultures, Tom has travelled to over 50 countries and values the international perspectives that have shaped both his personal and professional journey.
