Laura Guga-Voyce

Laura Guga-Voyce was appointed Managing Director of the UK Academic Partnerships division at Oxford International in November 2024. She leads the strategic, operational, and academic performance of the division, overseeing key academic partnerships across the UK. In addition, she holds company-level responsibility for regulatory and immigration compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
Laura arrived in the UK as an international student and now holds over 20 years of experience in higher education for international students. She has developed deep expertise across student services, compliance, academic operations, and institutional governance. Since joining Oxford International in 2018, she has held several senior leadership roles, including Group Compliance & Operations Director and Chief Operating Officer for University Partnerships. She has led major projects spanning legal due diligence, corporate governance, safeguarding transformation, and regulatory readiness for inspections by the British Council, ISI, and OfS.
Earlier in her career, Laura held senior roles at BPP University and Kaplan International Colleges. At Kaplan, she was part of the Academic Services team, supporting student experience, operational compliance, and academic quality across a global network. At BPP, she progressed to Director of Visa Compliance and English Language Assessment, overseeing a tenfold expansion in international student numbers, while maintaining full Tier 4 sponsor status and passing multiple UKVI and QAA audits.
Laura holds an MA in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, and successfully completed the Solicitor Qualifying Exam (SQE) in 2024. She is passionate about educational transformation, compliance excellence, and building high-performing, student-focused teams. Her leadership continues to shape Oxford International’s UK division as a trusted collaborator to academic partners and students alike.
