The Online Pre-Sessional Course is a 6, 12 or 16 week programme that provides students with an initial period of intensive English language training and assessments – adapted for online learning.
Online Pre-sessional English Course
The courses will be delivered by qualified EFL Teachers from the Oxford International English Language division, from our schools in Brighton, Greenwich and Oxford, all of which are accredited for the teaching and learning of English. Upon successful completion of the course, students will progress onto their designated International College.
COURSE LENGTH:
- 6 weeks, 12 or 16 weeks (depending on progression level required).
The 12-week course is built around 6 key assignments.
- 2 academic skills assignments (e.g. written or spoken/recorded summary of a text; lecture/TED Talk notes, etc.)
- 2 Presentations (spoken or recorded)
- 2 written essays
TIME COMMITMENT:
- Monday through Friday
- 60 or 90-minute Live Lessons with a lecturer per day (depending on content of lesson)

- Graded assessments and feedback
- Guided Self Study
- Peer Assessments
Students can also receive 1-2-1 Tutorials available to focus on additional language skills at an additional cost.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
To register for an Online pre-sessional English course you must show proof of your English Language level.

Providing your results from our English Language Level Test
or
Providing your results from an equivalent English language test (e.g. IELTS)
