Oxford International joins the Digital Education Council as part of our commitment to purposeful innovation in global education
Oxford International is proud to share that we have joined the Digital Education Council (DEC). Initiated by SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest EdTech accelerator, the DEC brings together forward-thinking institutions, EdTech innovators and sector experts who are committed to driving positive change in global education through collaboration, research and shared practice.
For Oxford International, this step reinforces a wider commitment: to innovate with confidence and purpose in ways that directly support our academic partners, students and staff. As technology reshapes education, we continue to invest in solutions and services that help our partners deliver high-quality, accessible learning and optimise their operational systems at scale.
Our decision to join the DEC is another milestone in a broader journey focused on solving real challenges. Recent steps on this journey include:
- Transforming admissions through AI: Earlier this year, we launched our proprietary AI-enabled Admissions Engine to support our Admissions Team in delivering strategic recruitment efforts on behalf of our academic partners. The tool is already gathering industry recognition and has been shortlisted for a prestigious Bett Award.
- Building AI literacy and strengthening assessment integrity: Our Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI) is leading a QAA-funded Collaborative Enhancement Project designed to support AI literacy and authentic assessment in higher education. This work helps institutions navigate the opportunities and risks of AI ethically and with confidence.
- Elevating the digital student journey: We recently relaunched the Oxford International flagship website to offer a clearer, faster and more intuitive experience for global audiences. This is the first major milestone in a multi-year digital transformation initiative.
These initiatives reflect our belief that innovation should enhance quality, strengthen trust and support long-term resilience across the sector.
Joining the DEC builds on this momentum. It enables us to contribute meaningfully to global conversations on the future of higher education and to collaborate with others committed to sector-wide progress driven by evidence-based, purposeful innovation.
“We are excited to work alongside fellow DEC members to advance digital excellence across the education sector globally. Together, we can influence and accelerate opportunities for innovation while providing guidance on the safe and ethical adoption of AI.”
Kenrick Cabrera, Chief Technology Officer at Oxford International
"We are pleased to welcome Oxford International to the Council. Their strategic, purpose-led approach to innovation reflects the kind of long-term thinking that aligns closely with DEC’s mission to support institutions as they navigate an AI-driven education landscape."
