ANNOUNCEMENT FROM OUR CEO: OXFORD INTERNATIONAL GOES ONLINE!
These last few weeks have been filled with great levels of anxiety and uncertainty. But they have also been filled with great acts of compassion, kindness and creativity. I have been truly humbled to see my colleagues at Oxford International demonstrate our core values of creativity, passion, pride and care by designing new online programmes to ensure our students stay on track with their academic pursuits. We believe that the quality of education delivered by Oxford International should not be defined by our buildings or face to face interactions, but by the cognitive, linguistic, academic, social and an emotional development that we enable for our students.
I am proud to announce the launch of a new series of online programmes aimed at supporting our current and future students.
Programmes for current students
Our online programmes are designed to enable student success to the same exacting standards expected of our traditional programme delivery. Our award-winning teams have worked tirelessly to tailor our face to face programmes to the online environment to ensure existing students progress in their studies.
Steps we have taken:
- Our current students are completing their GCSE, BTEC, Foundation and A level programmes online at our UK boarding schools;
- Our English language classes in UK, Canada and USA have moved to virtual classrooms programmes where students continue to enjoy the interactive benefits of group lessons alongside tailored one-to-one tutorials;
- All of our International Colleges based at De Montfort University, Bangor University, University of Dundee and the University of Greenwich have started delivering online lessons using Virtual Learning Environments which are available 24/7 with scheduled interactive tutorial sessions
New online programmes
Our new online programmes have been designed by the academic teams that create our traditional courses and can be tailored to support student learning in various parts of the globe.
- English language programmes for both Juniors and Adults in groups or one-to-one; for school groups these can be tailor-made to the specific requirements of teachers and schools.
- Our Bucksmore Homelingua team will be delivering one-to-one subject tutoring to ensure students are able to achieve the best grades possible once they return to their schools.
- Online Teacher Training courses focussed on Young Learners and CLIL will help teachers to develop and maintain their skills whilst schools are temporarily closed in many countries.
- COMING SOON: Online 1 term Pre-masters / IIM programmes starting in June, allowing students to start their masters at the earliest possible start date.
- COMING SOON: Online Pre-sessional English courses will be available for students looking to join their Pre-masters / IIM programmes in June and will be available for students looking to increase their English level over the summer before September.
