Oxford International North America Schools Branding Update
It is our pleasure to officially announce, effective January 1, 2021 our North American schools will operate solely under the Oxford International brand.
OIEG schools commenced a franchise agreement with Eurocentres in 2002, but Oxford International Education Group provided written notice to Eurocentres in September 2017 to indicate their notice to leave the longstanding partnership and downgrade their relationship to a co-branding agreement. One year later in September 2019 OIEG gave notice to end the partnership entirely. As such, effective January 1st, 2021, our schools in North America will no longer be co-branded with the Eurocentres name and will be exclusively branded respectively as Oxford International Vancouver, Toronto and San Diego. The reputation for quality that our partners trust and know will be even better come January as we move to the next chapter of our evolution.
In addition to our separation from Eurocentres we are thrilled to announce that commencing in January 2021, we will be rolling out a new syllabus; 21st Century Skills – English for Today’s World. Catering to the real learning needs and interests of the contemporary EFL student, our new syllabus will be offered at all six of our schools across North America and the UK. Oxford International’s program portfolio will offer a range of new and exciting course and elective options, as well as a new and improved online learning platform, the Oxford International Virtual Learning Campus and ensures our students gain an outstanding global learning experience. We cannot wait for our students to experience the new syllabus in the classroom in 2021.
Despite a difficult year for our sector, Oxford International Education Group continues to grow. We are elated to be able to share news of our planned expansions and acquisitions in early 2021, and will be providing news regarding these exciting developments as soon as is possible.
While we anticipate growth and change, OIEG will continue to provide EFL products that evoke trust and quality. Our exceptional Junior Summer, Year-Round group, English Plus, and University Pathway programs remain strong parts of our portfolio, and we will continue to cater and personalize programs for all English learning students in the UK and North America.
As our association with Eurocentres comes to an end, we thank them for the previous partnership, but remain steadfast in our goals and aims as an independent brand. The OIEG products and programmes are renowned for both quality and educational excellence, and remain available for any student who desires to improve their English skills within an authentic and immersive environment. With so much development and growth taking place within our organization, we are excited about what the future holds, and to welcome students from across to world to our superb learning institutions in 2021 and beyond.
