Since 1991, Oxford International has been a trusted educational partner, delivering academic partnerships and education services and with a growing portfolio of owned establishments across the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, the USA and beyond borders digitally.

Our in-country, blended-learning centres prepare students for international university progression, in collaboration with trusted local partners.

Each year, we help over 80,000 students from over 100 countries on their education journeys.

Our team of over 250 recruitment, admissions and conversion specialists are strategically located in 50 locations worldwide to provide support to international students and source the right talent for our own institutions as well as our academic partners, enhanced by a network of more than 2,500 educational consultants.

Colin Tenwick

Colin’s extensive experience as an executive and non-executive director of many globally recognised technology brands further builds the strength of Oxford International’s board as the edtech continues its growth journey.

Lil Bremermann-Richard

Lil has delivered significant growth through business transformation and performance enhancement as CEO, driving innovation and acquisitions in response to COVID-19 challenges and emerging market opportunities.

David Pilsbury

David is responsible for leading the group’s higher education growth and development strategy. As Chief Development Officer, the focus remains on fostering partnerships and expanding access to international education.

Andy leads global engagement strategies supporting students and academic partners across Academic Partnerships, the Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI) and Education Services globally.

Josh Rubin

With a career split between global education companies and management consultancy, Josh has experience in growing and transforming organisations with a strong commercial focus.

Jo’s strategic responsibilities include the professional development of colleagues across the world, the dynamic acquisition and management of talent, staff engagement, and the promotion of a culture of core values, staff well-being, and the celebration of success.

Kenrick Cabrera

Kenrick boasts over 20 years of expertise in delivering business transformation across sectors and organisations.

Nick Malcomson

Nick Malcomson joined Oxford International in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of international finance leadership experience to the organisation. He is responsible for overseeing financial strategy, planning, and governance.

Alex Korda

Alex brings broad international marketing and product experience to help assist and accelerate Oxford International’s ambitious digital growth plans.

Gary Palmer

Since joining the organisation in 2009, Gary has progressed through a series of leadership roles, delivering 70% revenue growth in Junior English language programmes in the UK and launching OIDI, which has served over 100,000 students globally to date.

Laura Guga-Voyce

Laura is responsible for all strategic, operational, and academic matters for our Academic Partnerships division as well as Regulatory and Immigration Compliance, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Data Protection across the Group.

Mohit Gambir

Mohit is an educationalist and entrepreneur with over eighteen years of experience in assisting international institutions with turnkey solutions in recruitment, agent management and back-office operations.

1991

The company was founded by David Brown and Robert Darell.

Across the 1990s

With the support of the King's Trust, we opened our first English language schools in London and Brighton.

Early 2000s

We launched our high-quality summer courses for individual students and grew our presence in the UK's academic centere.

In 2013, Oxford International went international for the first time, acquiring our Vancouver and Toronto English language schools.

2014

We proudly invited Bowmark Capital on board as minority investor to pursue our ambitious global growth strategy, added San Diego to our centres in North America and further centres in the UK.

2016-2018

We launched International Colleges with Bangor University, University of Dundee and University of Greenwich.

By constantly innovating, we challenge the sector

In 2020 and 2021, we strengthened our position as a global education platform through a management buy-out backed by THI Investments and the sale of our school division to Nord Anglia Education.

We launched the Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI), further developing the international education sector online.

In response to growing demand for qualified professionals to cover in-demand professions, we developed a range of vocational programmes and opened our Oxford International Career Colleges in Canada, and developed similar programmes in the UK.

The Academic Partnerships division launched several new UK pathways collaboration with the University of Bradford.

The English Language division, opened its latest language school in New York, USA, and continues to enrich its academic offering by equipping students with language skills necessary for the modern-day learner.

2022-2023

We launched partnerships with Roehampton University, Ravensbourne University, University of Kent, BPP University (UK) and Edinburgh Napier University in the UK and with Mercy University in the US.

2024

We opened our first Oxford International Global Hubs and expanded into Australia launching our partnership with University of Notre Dame and acquiring Universal Learning Group (ULG). We opened our vocational programmes in Canada to domestic students.

2025

We launched partnerships with University of Louisville (Kentucky, USA), Health Services University, Winchester University and Coquitlam College (Canada) and delivered the first UGC-approved international branch campus in India under the National Education Policy 2020 with University of Southampton.

2026

So far, we partnered with Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences (Berlin International) expanding into Germany, and added international recruitment to the existing domestic provision of Universal Higher Education UK (UHE UK) for degrees designed and delivered by the University of Roehampton, London and by the University of Bradford.
