Partnering with trusted collaborators to create in-country teaching hubs.

Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI)’s Global Hubs help higher education institutions extend their international reach by providing students with a flexible, affordable and accessible starting point for international study in their home country.

Delivered in partnership with trusted local education centres, Global Hubs combine OIDI’s online learning platform with a multinational network of in-country teaching hubs, enabling institutions to extend their reach into key international markets while maintaining academic standards.

With 13 Global Hubs split across eight countries, the model provides a scalable and sustainable approach to international student growth, helping institutions broaden access to their programmes and strengthen their global presence.

Through a blended learning model that combines online study with face-to-face teaching and guidance, students develop the academic and English language skills needed to succeed at English-speaking higher education institutions worldwide.

Students can enrol on International Foundation, International Year One and Pre-Master's programmes, providing preparation and progression opportunities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. As of 2026, students can also study programmes accredited by Abertay University, enabling students to begin their studies locally before progressing to degree and masters-level study in Dundee.

Alongside this, they build an early connection with their chosen institution, supporting a smoother transition to campus-based study and further enhancing student outcomes.

This collaboration enables us to extend our global reach in a sustainable way, welcoming talented students from diverse international communities and supporting them from the very start of their academic journey through to success on campus in Dundee.”

The tutors were always there to support us, and they were all experts in their own subjects. Every tutor encouraged us to co-ordinate in the lectures, and they were all friendly to us. It’s all thanks to them I got to learn the new way of learning.”
