Oxford International has launched Momentum, a global corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme designed to empower colleagues around the world to create positive social and environmental impact in their local communities.
Built around the principle of Local Action, Global Impact, Momentum reflects Oxford International’s belief that meaningful change starts at a local level. The programme provides a framework for teams across the organisation to support causes that matter to their communities while contributing to a wider culture of social responsibility.
The programme was officially launched through a beach clean-up initiative at Juhu Beach in Mumbai, India. Organised in partnership with volunteering platform ConnectFor, the activity brought together colleagues from the Oxford International India office to support environmental conservation and community engagement in recognition of World Environment Day.
Joining nearly 50 volunteers, the team helped remove waste from one of Mumbai’s most visited public beaches. In recognition of their contribution and teamwork, Oxford International was awarded Best Team Performance by ConnectFor.
ConnectFor is a volunteering platform that connects individuals and organisations with non-profit initiatives across areas including education, the environment, healthcare, animal welfare and community development.
The launch of Momentum builds on Oxford International’s longstanding commitment to supporting communities beyond education. Over recent years, teams across the business have participated in a range of community-focused activities promoting education, social wellbeing, inclusion and community development.

As Momentum develops, colleagues across Oxford International’s global network will be encouraged to participate in initiatives that deliver lasting social and environmental impact, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to making a positive difference in the communities where it operates.
